Forthebeginning I wouldlike to putoneshort and understandable definition of email marketing. Atitscore, email marketing is a toolforcustomerrelationshipmanagement (CRM). Usedeffectively, thisextensionofpermission-based marketing can deliveroneofthehighestreturn on investments (ROI) ofanydigital marketing activity. 

I choosefordescribingone e-mail, which I receivedfrom O2. O2 ismobile phoneoperator in Slovakia and I am theircustomer. In a subjectlineiswritten: Call to wholeEuropeanUnionforthepriceasathome! I thinkthattheycanpersuade by thatoffernot just ordinarycustomers, whocallabroadoften, butalsobiggercompanies, whichwouldlike to payless and theycallabroadprettyoften, becauseofsomepartnershipwithinternacionalcompanies or they are providinginternationalbusinessetc. But to tellthetruth, thesubjectlinedidnottake my attention. And I considered, thatthat email doesnot fit me. O2 should more personalisetheiremails.
