Central European Perceptions of Americans

Nowadays, America is perceived as a country, which affects all spheres whether it’s foreign policy, economics, culture or environmental issues. But public opinion to this effect has significantly deteriorated in recent years.
Many people consider foreign policy of the US as imperialist policy which is the result of their intervention and military actions. America is also accused of the unilateralism. It means reluctance to consult their decisions with its Allies. European countries are not aware that American unilateralism is a consequence of the weakness of other (European) countries, not its cause. The American model of company, a model of fighting against crime whether the model of immigration policy is refused in Europe. US differs from European countries in the field of health and social policy, in the question of legal possession of weapons, in the question of the death penalty and crime rates.
